GamePro is reporting that online co-op play for Xbox Live’s Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will not be available until September 28. The game will still be released as scheduled, August 18, just without co-cop. The September 28 date is also the same date the game will be available for PS3 and the PC.
Whether or not this affects gamers buying Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is yet to be seen. If it is solid enough as a single-player game, the delay may not be such a blow.
