Coming off of a successful Call of Duty 4, Activision Blizzard is ready to drop part 2 to Modern Warfare. It has been confirmed that it will be a direct sequel to Modern Warfare, so technically it isnt "Call of Duty 6" but more like "Call of Duty 4 Part 2" if that makes any sense.

Nothing in terms of storyline, gameplay, nor even a release date has been released. Definitely keeping an eye on this title and will report whatever news I find right here on my blog.
